Normandy in north eastern France is famous for many things but Camembert and Apples are two of the most popular. Cider is made from the apples and is a great match for the local white mould cheeses. However some Cider is distilled to make eau de vie and then aged a minimum of two years to create Calvados. This lovely little white mould camembert has been washed in Calvados to combine the flavours of these two regional products.
